1. The pattern '-(À¸)·Á°í ÇÏ´Ù' : intend to
   
  The pattern `-(À¸)·Á°í ÇÏ´Ù' is used with verbs(including `ÀÖ´Ù'). This pattern is used to indicate a subject's intention. However, this pattern is restricted to first and second personal pronouns. The third personal pronoun will be dealt with in detail later.
   
  `·Á°í ÇÏ´Ù' is used if the verb stem ends in a vowel.
`-À¸·Á°í ÇÏ´Ù' is used if the verb stem ends in a consonant.
   
 
  Àú´Â ³»ÀÏ ±ØÀå¿¡ °¡·Á°í ÇØ¿ä. I intend to go to the theater.
  1´ÞÂë ¼­¿ï¿¡ ÀÖÀ¸·Á°í ÇØ¿ä. I intend to be in Seoul for about 1 month.    
  1½ÃºÎÅÍ °øºÎÇÏ·Á°í ÇØ¿ä. I intend to study from 1 o'clock.    
  ºÒ°í±â¸¦ ¸ÔÀ¸·Á°í ÇØ¿ä. I intend to eat bulgogi.
   
  The negation is expressed in the main verb which has `-(À¸)·Á°í ÇÏ´Ù', not with the `ÇÏ´Ù' verb.
   
 
  ±× Ã¥À» ¾È »ç·Á°í ÇØ¿ä. I don't intend to buy that book.  
  (= ±× Ã¥À» »çÁö ¾ÊÀ¸·Á°í ÇØ¿ä.)

  This marker '-ÇÑÅ×' is used for indicating the receiver of an action or the one whom something is done or exists.

4. Pre-ending '-°Ú-' : guess/conjecture
   
  This pre-ending -°Ú- is used for expressing the speaker's conjecture or supposition or for asking intention of the person spoken to in a polite request.

5. The pattern '-(À¸)¤¤ ´ÙÀ½¿¡' : after doing something
   
  On it's own, the noun '´ÙÀ½' means 'later'. The pattern '-(À¸)¤¤ ´ÙÀ½¿¡' is used to express 'after something happens' or 'after something happened'. It is used only with verbs.
   
  Tense and negation is expressed in the main verb.
   
 
  ¼ö¾÷ÀÌ ³¡³­ ´ÙÀ½¿¡ ¸¸³³½Ã´Ù. Let's meet after class finishes.
  Ä£±¸¸¦ ¸¸³­ ´ÙÀ½¿¡ ±× ÀÏÀ» Çϰھî¿ä. I will do that task(job) after meeting
my friend.
  ÀüÈ­¸¦ ÇÑ ´ÙÀ½¿¡ ¿À¼¼¿ä. Please come over after you call.

  However, if the subject of the two clauses (the main clause and the dependent clause which is introduced with this pattern) is the same, this pattern cannot be used with the verbs '°¡´Ù' (to go) / '¿À´Ù '(to come) and their compounds.

6. '-¤§' Irregular verbs
   
  The final consonant '-µå' of the verb stem changes into '-¤©' when followed by a vowel, but it does not change when followed by a consonant.
   
 
  µè´Ù (to listen): µè + ¾î¿ä -> µé¾î¿ä.
  ¹¯´Ù (to ask): ¹¯ + ¾î º¸´Ù -> ¹°¾î º¸´Ù.
  °È´Ù (to walk): °È + ¾ú¾î¿ä -> °É¾ú¾î¿ä.
